This afternoon I made a cup of strawberry milk. I poured the milk into my glass, added 3 spoons of the strawberry flavored mix and stirred. Delicious!
Then I couldn’t find the plastic lid for the Nesquik mix. It wasn’t on the floor; I searched twice upon my hands and knees. It wasn’t on the counter. I looked at the kitchen table. Not there. I was stumped.
I went to the pantry and found another canister of the mix to see what kind and color of lid I was searching for. Rectangular. Clear yellow plastic. But the lid must have sprouted wings and flown away because it was nowhere in sight.
I picked up the container and considered trying to squish the remaining mixture into the un-opened canister. Then I found the lid! It was right in front of my eyes. It was on the container.
I pray that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ open the eyes of your understanding; that you may know what is the hope of His calling, what are the riches of the glory of His inheritance in the saints, and what is the exceeding greatness of His power toward us who believe (Ephesians 1:17, 18-19).
