One Another

two boys running

I knew two little boys, only a year apart in age. I watched them run down the sidewalk to the toy store as fast as their 2 and 3 year old legs would carry them.

The younger of the boys always looked at his own feet as he ran. He saw only the moment, which was fine, until he ran into a signpost.

The older boy ran looking far down the street at the goal ahead of him. He missed when his friend hit the signpost and got a bloody nose.

Beloved, let us love one another, for love is of God, and everyone who loves is born of God and knows God (1 John 4:7).
